Our iconic Welcome to Billings flowerbed is bright and beautiful once more at the start of fall 2024! Thanks to Bright n' Beautiful's own LuAnne Engh, Barbara Turner, and Joanie Tooley as well as wonderful Americorps helpers, Erica Sall and Olivia Schwartz, we got the Welcome bed weeded and planted. We couldn't have done it without the brawny assistance of a crew from the Streets and Traffic Division of the City of Billings loosening up hardened soil for us and helping us with mulch. And what would we have done without our friends from the Montana State University - Billings Facilities Department? They sure looked after us, repaired the sprinklers in the bed and got us the water supply we needed to soak in and bed down a lovely array of hardy, flowering perennials. Fingers crossed they withstand what's ahead! We hope you catch a glimpse of the colorful loveliness as you come around the corner from Airport Hill onto North 27th Street.
